HOWEVER, as you progress further into the site, you will find that the page download times improve dramatically as your computer automatically 'stores' images (the first time they appear) into your 'temporary internet files' cache - for immediate access when they appear on another page in the site.

The improved page download times will continue unless or until you have done a 'disc clean-up' and/or removed your 'temporary internet files' through use of your System Tools... after which, your computer must again do a fresh 'download' of the images and re-store them in the temporary internet files ... for 'quicker viewing' on your system. 

You might also find it helpful (for this site and any other you visit) to increase the size of the Temporary Internet Files "holder".

CONTROL PANEL / INTERNET OPTIONS / INTERNET PROPERTIES / TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES /  (SETTINGS) / SETTINGS > AMOUNT OF DISC SPACE TO USE: ...... INCREASE IT. 

Your system will then hold more files for quicker re-viewing.
