Memorial Day Celebration of Freedom to Remember, Reflect and
Honor our Veterans; Past, Present and Future, who have given their
very all for our country.
Registration and line up for the ride begins at 11am in the front
parking lot of Wayne County Community College off of Haggerty and I-94
(exit 192, then north on Haggerty). The Van Buren and Belleville police
escorted ride starts out at 1pm traveling around the Van
Buren/Belleville area ending up at
Belleville Veteran's Memorial in
Horizon Park off Belleville Lake on High St., just east of Main
St., across from Grace Baptist Church.
Upon arriving at
the park (2-2:30pm)there will be a memorial service with local veterans.
There is a registration fee of $10.00 in which proceeds will go to help
local veterans and their families through the VFW. Please come out and
show your Red, White and Blue!! All riders are welcome. For more
